Finally Here to Hear - May 22, 2007
Well the new CD is finished here are some sample tunes and a link to buy the collection or parts of it in the coming weeks. It was a very valuable experience interacting with the GB community and it informed my choices in the final songs and production values. What remains of the first round of tunes is for the most part gone or remixed beyond recognition except for "Raised by Wolves". I hope that it brings enjoyment to you as it did me in the creative process. I was very lucky to hook up with Renato Annichiarico our new extraordinary percussionist/drummer who added so much to the sound and Liz Raquelle who sang so beautifully on "Serenity". They came just in time as I was reaching my creative limit to help with the effort. "Sirena" is the title of the CD but that bears no relation to the previous posting of that song. The production values are, I believe, crisper and livelier. The final release is entitled "Gary Carpenter and Tribal Heat" which is my local band that will be performing these tunes; stay tuned for upcoming gigs.
